Welcome to Poppy

Growing up I was blessed with an amazing Grandpa who knew how important it was to recognize and  acknowledge those he loved with small gestures of kindness. One of his favorite ways to show this was through flowers. Whether it was my birthday, Valentine's Day or him just knowing I needed a smile. I got flowers. 

Always. 

This loving gesture became such a blessing in my life, insomuch that I wanted to share that special feeling with my Community. 

How we chose the name "Poppy"

When I was a small child I gave my Grandpa the nick name of "Poppy"  and it stuck throughout all the younger grandkids.  My Poppy was an amazing and loving person. We couldn't go anywhere in town without stopping to talk to each person we saw. I swear he knew EVERYONE! Grocery trips, bank deposits, softball games, always took hours longer than expected. Years after his passing I still get asked "you're Brent's Granddaughter, aren't you"  "Oh he sure loved you!" 

I'm honored to start this company is his name and in his remembrance.
